This blog is something I have chosen to write because of a discussion my college Bible study group had about the promises of God. That conversation ignited an interest in me, and genuine longing to see what indeed are all the different promises God has made to us in the Scriptures. Some promises are very clear, foundational and promises we most easily associate with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. On the other hand, the others are tucked away, ready to be uncovered like buried treasure.
It is my goal to focus on one specific set of promises each week. I will be choosing topics like salvation, forgiveness, patience, etc. I pray that this will really deepen my understanding of my Creator and create discussion on these promises.
